Taipei Elite (Chinese: 臺北菁英) is a football club based in Taipei, Taiwan which currently competes in the Taiwan Second Division Football League.
History
The club was formed in 2021 after the Zhanyi Group took over the license of Red Lions, who had previously competed in the league from 2018 to 2020. The new owners opted to relaunch the club as a new entity, branding the new side Flight Skywalkers with a new crest and kit. The team in its maiden season was mainly supplied by Taipei City University of Science and Technology. The team was renamed Taipei Deva Dragons in the 2023 season. On May 9, 2023, the team was renamed Taipei Dragons after the team received naming sponsorship by the Taipei City Government. The team was renamed Taipei Elite in the 2024 season.
Le FC Taicheng Lions est un club de football taïwanais basé dans le district de Taichung, à Taïwan. Fondé en 2021, le club dispute ses matchs à domicile au Stade national de Kaohsiung.
Les Lions de Taicheng ont connu une ascension rapide dans le football taïwanais, remportant le championnat de première division en 2022 lors de leur première saison. Dirigée par l'entraîneur espagnol Juan Antonio Zapata, l'équipe est connue pour son style de jeu offensif et son attaque prolifique.
Parmi les joueurs clés de l'équipe figurent le milieu de terrain japonais Keigo Higashi, l'attaquant taïwanais Chen Hao-wei et le défenseur sud-coréen Kim Jae-sub.
Les Lions de Taicheng représentent Taïwan dans des compétitions internationales, notamment la Coupe de l'AFC. Le club aspire à devenir une force majeure dans le football asiatique et à promouvoir le football taïwanais au niveau mondial.
