SC Chaika Petropavlivska Borshchahivka is a Ukrainian football club from Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, Bucha Raion, just outside Kyiv. The club plays in Ukrainian Second League since 2018. Chaika plays its home matches at the Kozak-Arena.

The club is located next to the Chaika residential neighborhood on western outskirts of Kyiv, which contains several sports venues such as dirt racing track, a dirt airfield, others. The area was established back in 1934 as part of the Soviet organization Osoaviakhim, later DOSAAF.

History

The club was founded in 1976 and participated in the regional competition. With fall of the Soviet Union, club disappeared.

In 2008 it was reestablished again and almost for its first decade competed exclusively at regional level.

In 2016–2018 the club was fielding its football team in national league among amateurs.

The club was admitted to the Professional Football League of Ukraine after passing attestation for the 2018–19 Ukrainian Second League season.

Logo, name and symbol

The club's symbol is a seagull which is known "chaika" in Slavic languages. On the logo before 2020, it contained the coat of arms of Petropavlivska Borshchahivka. Earlier versions of logo contained a temple and a "Kyiv chestnut leaf".

Le FC "P. Borshagovka" est un club de football ukrainien basé à Kiev, la capitale de l'Ukraine. Fondé en 1994, il évolue actuellement dans la deuxième division ukrainienne.

Le club a connu le succès en remportant la Coupe d'Ukraine en 2008 et 2009. Il a également participé à la Coupe UEFA et à la Ligue Europa, où il a atteint la phase de groupes lors de la saison 2010-2011.

"P. Borshagovka" est réputé pour sa formation de jeunes et a produit un certain nombre de joueurs qui ont ensuite joué pour des clubs plus importants en Ukraine et à l'étranger.

Le club joue ses matchs à domicile au stade Arsenalnyi.
